Swedish welterweight Christian Stigenberg just made his PFL debut against Chris Mixan at Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff.

After three even rounds, Mixan stood as the winner by split decision with 29-28, 28-29, 29-28 on the judges scorecards.

In the first round of the welterweight showcase, Stigenberg used his reach advantage well and landed several leg kicks. In the second round, both fighters showed their skills. The Swede used his jab and leg kicks well while his opponent landed two head kicks. In the third round, Mixan turned up the pace and landed good kicks while Stigenberg had success with his jab.

Christian Stigenberg has a record of 3-2

Stigenberg has a professional record of 3-2 and fought in leading Swedish MMA organizations Fight Club Rush and Superior Challenge before his debut at PFL.

In his professional debut at Fight Club Rush 8 in March 2021, he defeated Alexander Lindgren via knockout. A few months later he took a majority decision win over Christopher Bajo at Superior Challenge 22. At Superior Challenge 23 in September, he lost to Niko Skonbäck via unanimous decision, but came back strong in May 2022, when he defeated Theodor Berggren via unanimous decision at Fight Club Rush 12.
