Cris Cyborg publicerade lista med Dana Whites citat om fighters
I samband med presskonferensen efter den gångna helgens UFC Vegas 67 bekräftade UFC-presidenten Dana White att Ngannou inte längre var under kontrakt med UFC. Transkribering via MMA Fighting.
We offered Francis a deal that would have made him the highest paid heavyweight in the history of the company. More than [Brock] Lesnar, more than anybody, and he turned the deal down. We get to this point where I’ve told you guys before, if you don’t want to be here, you don’t have to be here. I think Francis is in a place right now where he doesn’t want to take a lot of risk. [He] feels he’s in a good position where he could fight lesser opponents and make more money. So we’re going to let him do that. We’re going to release him from his contract, we’re going to give up our right to match, and he can go wherever he wants and do whatever he wants. That’s where we’re at.
Bellator MMAs fjäderviktsmästarinna Cyborg publicerade nyligen en screenshot på en Googlesökning med artiklar som innehåller citat av White. Det visade sig att White vid ett stort antal tidigare tillfällen sagt att utövare inte vill fightas i organisationen. Bland dessa namn återfinns fighters som. Ben Askren, Alistair Overeem, Tyron Woodley, Georges St-Pierre, Nick Diaz, Jon Jones, Nate Diaz, Dustin Poirier, Jose Aldo och Jorge Masvidal. Även Cyborg själv finns med på listan.

Cyborg kommer senast från fem raka titelvinster inom Bellator MMAs fjäderviktsdivision. Den senaste ägde rum i april, förra året.
