According to the Abdelaziz, the No. 3 ranked fighter will be a part of a high-profile bout, possibly against the promotion’s biggest cash-cow Conor McGregor. “Justin Gaethje, we’re probably going to see him at the beginning of next year. His nose is still… yesterday I had to stop him from training. He tried to grapple and I jumped in. I was like ‘Stop.’ His nose is not healed,” Abdelaziz said. “I would love to see him fight Conor McGregor when he comes back, or some big fights. This is what he’s looking for. He’s not going to be there for some guys to make a name off him,” Abdelaziz said. The first against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 254 in October 2020, and the second one against Charles Oliveira at UFC 274 in May. Despite knocking down “do Bronx” twice, Gaethje lost the intense fight via a first-round submission. His last win came against Michael Chandler in November last year. Justin Gaethje fought and lost two title bouts
