The undefeated Khamzat Chimaev is one of the biggest names in MMA right now, and it’s hard to imagine that he bursted into the UFC scene just two years ago. With record setting wins over Rhys McKee and John Phillips – and a instant classic 17-second knockout against Gerald Meerschaert – he quickly became the name on everyone’s tongue back in 2020.
After crushing the tough Li Jingliang and beating top ranked Gilbert Burns in a Fight of the Year candidate, the Chechnya-born Swede cemented his place as a major contender in the stacked welterweight division.
