Logan Paul må inte uppskatta Dillon Danis upptåg men han kan i alla fall uppskatta vad Bellatorveteranens oavbrutna trollande har gjort för att promota deras match den 14 oktober.

Paul sade följande via podcasten Flagrant:
I’ll be honest, they’re all good. They’re all good. The guy is f****** so good at Twitter. It’s top tier trolling, which is why I chose him as an opponent. I had no idea [he was going to go this hard], but we got people interested, right? At the end of the day, it’s all fight promo.
Dillon hates me. I don’t give a f*** about him. I think he’s an excellent troll. I think he’s very parasitic, which is why I’m honored that I get to be the one to take him out and embarrass him. That’s why I took the fight. I was like, ‘OK, I know this guy’s going to promote the f*** out of it. People are going to be interested, because if he shows up, I get to be the one [to teach him a lesson],’ and that excites me.
Paul, 28 år, är tänkt att möta Danis, 30, i en åttarondare inom boxning. Detta vid den delade huvudmatchen för KSI vs. Tommy Fury i Manchester Arena i Manchester, England.
Paul förlorade tidigare mot den numera affärspartnern KSI i sin första professionella boxningsmatch år 2019. Han återvände sedan år 2021 i en uppvisningsmatch mot legendaren Floyd Mayweatcher. Matchen slutade med no-contest.
Danis gör nu sin debut som boxare efter att vunnit sina 2 professionella MMA-matcher i Bellator. Han har även ett svart bälte i brasiliansk jiu-jitsu.
Kommer att kompensera sin flickvän
Danis har gjort trollandet av Paul via sociala medier till hörnstenen i sin promotion inför matchen. Han har då attackerat den kommande motståndaren dagligen och i synnerhet Pauls trolovade Nina Agdal. Paul hävdade att Danis delat 170 inlägg om henne där kampsportaren bland annat skrivit dennas tidigare partners. Paul har beklagat sig även flickvännen blivit indragen i skitsnacket och de personliga attackerna. Paul säger nu att han planerar att kompensera Agdal ekonomiskt för det Danis gjort mot henne:
That’s the issue, my man. Poor innocent bystander, third party, female, who has nothing to do with this fight other than being my fiancée.
You want to know something? … I did say to her, I said, ‘Nina, I’ve got to be honest, you’re handling this s*** like a warrior and I will compensate you accordingly with my winnings.’ Dog, she’s never experienced hatred in her life. All of a sudden, because she’s linked to me, this is my fault, I feel so bad, but she’s strong as hell, dude. It’s part of the reason, how she’s handling all of this, why I chose her to be my fiancée.
Även om Danis verkar ha övertaget i ordkriget så förblir Paul självsäker i att han är vassare som boxare. När han tillfrågades om han är orolig över Danis förmågor i ringen inför matchen så avfärdade Paul hotet från denne som skrattretande:
No, I don’t. In fact, can I get a drink? Typically [I don’t drink while training], but come on, it’s Dillon Danis, bro. What are you talking about?
