The stacked UFC 278 will take place at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 20.
In the main event, dominant welterweight champion Kamaru Usman will take on contender Leon Edwards in a five-round title bout. The two previously met back in 2015 in a fight where Usman stood as the winner via unanimous decision. Neither the champion or Edwards has lost a single bout since.
The UFC 278 co-main event features a middleweight scrap between contenders Luke Rockhold and Paulo Costa. Former champion Rockhold makes his first UFC appearance after three years to take on the heavy-hitting Brazilian. The winner of this highly anticipated bout will have a good chance to fight for the title next.
The card also features an exciting bantamweight fight between No. 3 ranked José Aldo and No. 6 ranked Merab Dvalishvili, as well as an interesting flyweight bout between Francisco Figueiredo and Amir Albazi.
