On Saturday August 6, UFC Vegas 59 takes place at UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The event is headlined by a five-round light heavyweight fight between Thiago Santos and Jamahal Hill.
Former title contender Santos is ranked No. 6 in the division and has one win in his last five UFC bouts. His opponent, No. 10 ranked Hill, has back to back KO-wins over Jimmy Crute and Johnny Walker.
In the co-main event, No. 6 ranked welterweight Vicente Luque will square off against No. 13 ranked Geoff Neal. Luque lost to Belal Muhammad in his last outing, while Neal took split decision win against Santiago Ponzinibbio in his last fight.
The main card also features a heavyweight bout between Augusto Sakai and Sergey Spivak, as well as a women’s flyweight bout between Ariane Lipski and Priscila Cachoeira.
