Just minutes into the first round, the Swede pulled of a guillotine choke that put an end to the fight. Even more impressive is that just one of the fights went the distance. “This is a very motivated individual,” the PFL commentators said after Taleb’s performance in London. Taleb made his professional debut at Fight Club Rush 5 in August 2019, with a stoppage-win over Shoeb Akrami. Undefeated bantamweight Ali Taleb put on a dominant performance in his PFL debut against Darius Mafim on August 20. Just minutes into the first round, the Swede pulled of a guillotine choke that put an end to the fight.

Now it’s clear that the massive win secured Taleb’s advancement to the 2023 PFL European League.
