Conor McGregor påstår att UFC inte jobba på en match mellan honom och Michael Chandler.
Conor McGregor ser inte ut att möta Michael Chandler
Conor McGregor har varit borta från sporten sedan han skadade benet mot Dustin Poirier för två år sedan. UFC började fila på en möjlig comeback för stjärnan och lösningen blev till sist The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).
TUF är en dokusåpa där två UFC-fighters får träna varsitt lag där tävlande möter varandra tills endast en står kvar. Vinnaren får ett kontrakt med UFC. Dessutom hör det till att de två tränarna drabbar samman i buren. Detta var länge tanken för McGregor som planerades möta motståndarlagets tränare Michael Chandler. Men efter att Conor ännu inte börjat testas av USADA (anti-doping byrån) kommer han inte kunna återvända i år.
Nu berättar Conor att UFC har andra matcher för honom de är mer intresserade av. Detta berättade han i ett nu borttaget inlägg på Twitter.
I’ll do it if they want, no prob. I don’t think they want him no more tho. There’s loads of juicy fights around and my return date is my return date. I never gave a fuck about who it was. Ever. I’ll fight anyone. I’ll even fly them to me, ask malinaggi. Flown in and bet around.
Chandler hånar McGregor
Chandler, som gått tre matcher under McGregors avbrott, har varit öppen med sin irritation på Conor och hans ovilja att möta honom. På Twitter laddade han upp en skämtbild som tydligt signalerade hans tankar kring matchen.

Conor McGregor vs Justin Gaethje
Conor har istället för Chandler börjar antyda en match mot Justin Gaethje. Den sistnämnde kommer från en imponerande knockoutvinst över Dustin Poirier och är aktuell för en potentiell titelmatch.
Det började när McGregor laddade upp flera inlägg på Twitter där han skrev saker som att han skulle ”ta död” på Gaethje med bara ett slag.
The guy is about as smart as two planks. He is a one shotter for me. I snipe him dead in one single shot. And easily.
Detta fick Gaethjes manager Ali Abdelaziz att ilskna till. Under en intervju med MMA Fighting förklarade han hur enkelt han tror Gaethje skulle besegra McGregor.
This is the scenario that will happen: T-Mobile Arena, sold out arena, 20,000 people. Justin Gaethje walk into that cage, Conor McGregor walk into that cage, Conor McGregor gets brutally hurt, injured, knocked out. I think Justin Gaethje’s notorious for punishing people for disrespecting him in a fight. Like [Dan] Lauzon, like Michael Johnson, like [James] Vick, we know what happened to all these people. But the scenario that will happen, I promise you this, you’re going to see an ambulance going straight to the cage, picking up Conor McGregor straight to the hospital.
