Undefeated bantamweight Ali Taleb put on a dominant performance in his PFL debut against Darius Mafim on August 20. Just minutes into the first round, the Swede pulled of a guillotine choke that put an end to the fight.

Now it’s clear that the massive win secured Taleb’s advancement to the 2023 PFL European League.

“Welcome to the League,” PFL wrote in a new Instagram post.

The British fighter Abraham Bably and Norway’s Magnus Onyeka are also ready for the PFL’s European League.

Ali Taleb is undefeated with 8-0

With the first-round finish in the PFL debut at Copper Box Arena in London, Ali Taleb still has a perfect professional record of 8-0. Even more impressive is that just one of the fights went the distance.

“This is a very motivated individual,” the PFL commentators said after Taleb’s performance in London.

Taleb made his professional debut at Fight Club Rush 5 in August 2019, with a stoppage-win over Shoeb Akrami. A little more than a month ago, he knocked out Vincius de Oliveira and claimed the UAE Warriors World Bantamweight Championship.
